My desktop background is a series of images of planets, moons, dwarf planets, and other objects in space that changes periodically. And you know what? I never get tired of powering up my computer and unexpectedly seeing Uranus.

This is a grammar trick for people to know. (I see people get this wrong in text ALL THE TIME.) When do I use "me and my friend" and when do I use "my friend and I?" Simply remove "my friend" from the sentence. Does it sound right? Then you're golden. If not, it's the other one.

Today I sharpened my favourite knife. I always put this off much longer than I should and every time I sharpen it I am immediately like "why do I make myself live like this." One of these days I'm gonna learn from the experience.
I used to know someone who ended a phone call by saying "Bye now," pausing as though to let you reply, and then saying "bye" again slightly longer and hanging up. I wish I was that assertive.
