These past few weeks have been rough. But you could help turn it around for this trans woman today on Trans Day of Visibility
animal and by learning more about them, you will have less to be afraid of. Some of the classifications are slightly outdated but that's only because they have recently been changed and the casual identifier won't notice. It does a great job showing how diverse and beautiful spiders can be...
I was taking a mental reset to practice something I have always been just.....terrible at It was a good way to calm my mind
Was cutting an apple and found out you can in fact clip your nails with a regular drawer utensil knife DO NOT CLIP YOUR NAILS WITH A REGULAR DRAWER UTENSIL KNIFE OR ANY OTHER KNIFE

Shit's bad but I went on a spider hunt last night and for my first time, took a picture I was happy enough with to make my wallpaper so I got that going for me at least
I know that making fun of Canada while being an American is the most stones in glass houses shit ever (our president is sending the military in to harass cities who disagree with him, the analogy was not made for such extremes) but I am going to play the clown music for this one Alberta
Who do I direct my middle finger towards in this instance? I've had watch history turned off for years and was still recommended videos. I assume based on channel metrics of similar audiences (if you like this channel you might like this one, kind of thing)
Any thoughts on this? It seems Bluesky is not mandating a government ID like YouTube and instead also has options that don't retain your biometric or private data/otherwise less invasive
setting those "bungee threads" that you mention in your video. I'm also starting to question their status as gnaphosids based on the hunting behavior you witnessed and would be interested in seeing an actual study to see if they maintain that status or not.
Beautiful! Neosconas are so pretty ☺️ I wasn't quite able to do this N. arabesca justice but I was glad I got to see it anyways
Allowing myself to make bad art in an attempt to one day make good art. This was a good assessment of my starting point. Proportions are still hard cause I didn't quite get the leg spread right. I came up with ways to adjust for next time. Scared of coloring so I chose a black and white subject lol
Hearing about Jonathan Joss has been heartbreaking. Reading the statement from his husband and then seeing how it is being reported in the news is radicalizing. None of them mention the hatred, homophobia, and shoulder shrugging from authorities they went through leading to this tragedy
Got this cool shot where both the male and female were in focus
I sent this to Republicans and Democrats knowing that the Republicans were more likely to just toss it aside. But again it's about letting them know we're watching.
Xysticus are always so expressive with their little legs! I saw one the other night that I accidentally created a spotlight effect with and it felt like a character in a play pretending to mourn a death that they caused.
I need help identifying this Wolf Spider. If anyone has any resources for IDing Lycosids I would be greatly appreciative Virginia, USA
It's hard to see so I'm not quite sure but a happy Steatoda borealis for #invertefest
