Anyone planning on attending Essen this year? I may be attending and would love to meet some of you in person.
Some clever plays kept the tension high and it really came down to the wire. The new map feels really good. I think we are very close to being comfortable pitching it. 🎲✂️
Ocean theme went over well. Words like, "Cozy" and "Boutique" were said. Also went with each side having a single color which was the direction I was leaning.
Quickly tried an ocean theme for my abstract game Antigo with fish vs coral. Pictures are of the two sides having a variety color species vs one color and species on each side. Still like the OG I think. (Sorry for bad lighting) 🎲✂️
Love cassette futurism design and this computer calls to me on so many level.
Began work on a new puzzle book, a collection that includes all the puzzle systems I have published both physically and digitally (including Patreon exclusive puzzles). There are a total of 111 new pen and paper logic puzzles with each system getting between 9 and 15 new problems for you to solve.
Would people be interested more of this puzzle (or maybe it already exists and you can let me know what it is called)? 🧩✂️ 1. Circle 1 number in each octagon. 2. The selected numbers must add up to equal the large, bolded number in the adjacent squares.
Just returned from @fastaval.bsky.social where a game I co-designed was nominated for Best Innovation. Got some fantastic feedback and met awesome people. Fastaval has such a welcoming community. 🎲✂️
My wife dominated in a game of Yield: The Rightful Heir. She leaned heavily in completing quests and resource denial. 🎲✂️
Made some good strides in our game for Fastaval. Very happy with how it is turning out. ✂️🎲
Got to meet with my co-designer in person and play the physical prototype of our Fastval game. Progress is being made. 🎲✂️
A lot of playtesting has been happening and today my co-designer and I sat down to discuss our notes and make a few adjustments. VERY excited about the two changes we tested today.
Finally getting the energy to do something. Heading to a prototype event tomorrow so getting some much needed copies of Antigo made.
My mother in law sent me a wooden puzzle of a globe. I have never done one of these but am excited to get stuck in!
We are watching our friends two big dogs and it is quite a different experience hahaha
