This is my really advanced technique for clearing your desktop that I started doing several years ago. I know some of you have like thousands of things on your desktop. Just make a folder like this, label it well, put everything in there. It looks clean and things load faster. You're welcome.

When I was basically a toddler, I was let loose on the Commodore VIC-20 and learned BASIC like this, apparently I remember copying things from this book when I was 3 years old and onward for a handful of years. Probably played a role in my literacy. (from "Personal Computing On The VIC-20")

The Space Shuttle Challenger disaster was 40 years ago. My grandparents, who I miss dearly, watched from a nearby area and took many photos before/during/after the launch and explosion. This is one of said photos, earlier in the launch, before it was clear to the public how wrong things were.

Celebrated an anniversary on the weekend in Toronto, ate great food, went to the aquarium + "Little Canada" (miniature exhibit) during their pride event. It is fun to look at tiny buildings, people, sea creatures, and to eat good food. Here is a water guy. It is NOT a selfie. Don't even think that!

I recently became obsessed with wanting one of these things. I swear someone in my fam had one back in the day. I'd imagine I'd mostly use the cassette portion, and think about how it looks like something out of MGS.
These are some of my favourite photos, wherein the 1980s child version of me insists on pretending to "fix" the various rockets and engines on display at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida with a plastic toy monkey wrench.
I don't know why it took me all these years to see "Christine" (from 1983) but what a rad movie. It could have been released today as-is and it would still work. Gorgeous shots, fun sinister stuff and a story that reminds me of other classic tales without feeling derivative.
For like three-and-a-half DECADES, I waited for this moment. When I was a kid, I had the TMNT toys but no OOZE for them, sold out everywhere. A kind and rad person sent me this NEW ooze awhile back and my brother bought me another muckman - my fave potential ooze'n candidate. Ritual complete!
