Six {So, what now?}
@adhdbusiness
Music store owner, tinkerer of music gear, AuDHD as fuck, even been known to use a camera from time to time.
Found a Hello Kitty ICOCA card from like our first trip to Japan.
Damn, Wayne Charvel died a few days ago. Barely a word about it online which sucks.
Fuuuuuck these things. The only thing to like about them is the fat stack of cash I get for having to fix their many, many faults.
The practice cat at our old vet apparently passed away at 14. He was the grumpiest looking cat you’ve ever seen; but he was actually quite sweet. He just chilled there on his little perch and wandered round on his own terms. 14 years was far too short.
I’d give an appendage to find the Ito-en oolong mango tea here. So damned good.
RIP in piss Lindsey Graham. Say hi to Mitch while you’re down there.
I want to go back to my childhood teachers who said that my stories were way too unbelievable because I wrote people that were so comically stupid, and they’d never get into power. IS THAT SO SIR?! HOW YOI EXPLAIN THIS?
Fuck sake. Of course there’s more bullshit. Always is. Landlord seems to have not paid the power bill. So I have no power in my workshop. No idea when it’ll return. I desperately need to get this overseas company shit sorted ASAP and hey the fuck outta here.
To add to today’s emotions, Eva has been returned to us. A tiny box to add to my ever growing collection of those I care about sitting on my shelf.
Today would have been mums 56th birthday. Instead, she’ll forever he 53. Just starting to live her life after raising 3 kids from when she was a child herself. Taken from us by someone she barely knew. Happy birthday mum. Miss you every day.
Been a LONG time since I pulled this one out of the case. My second Caparison, formerly owned (and destroyed) by Jona Weinhofen. Spent like, 7 years in a case, no strings. Needed a higher gain guitar for testing in the workshop, so resurrected it.
No need for all the bento bogans to go to Japan now, 7/11 have started importing the Japanese product range. Pricing though, ouch.
Turns out I got Eva’s age wrong. She was 16, not 15. Facebook brought up a memory from not long after we got her from 2010. Smaller than a beer bottle.
Sure random internet stranger. I’m sure they’ve already instituted sharmuta law too. Seriously, I’ll be so grateful when Metas platforms finally die.
Forgot, this morning there was a kookaburra just hanging out on the branch directly outside out bedroom window this morning. Love hearing them do their thing with all the other birds we get here despite being in suburbia.
I haven’t cleared away Eva’s stuff yet. I keep looking over to her spot, or expecting to hear her patter about when it’s time for dinner. For an entire hour. This morning I woke up and found one of the cats snuggled in her bed. I pushed it half under the shelves when cooking last night. 😞
Goodbye my precious little Eva. 15 years wasn’t enough time with you. I found you in a birdcage in Greystanes, picked you up and you snuggled into me. So it was the way you left me, snuggled as you drifted off. I’ll miss you forever.
There’s some new micro splits and vertical box units for fitting to modern windows that are pretty cool.
I thought The Boys was a perfectly cromulent ending. The Amazing Digital Circus did pull it off better though.
Jesus Christ, this isn’t a shitpost, but an actual article. Someone needs to hit the big red button already, humanity’s done.
A small portion of my books. Somehow I ended up with multiples of some books. All my electronics books are at the shop, but I have some random ones at home. I like collecting random old electronics books to see how they are.
I love capitalism. $31 per ticket for the movies. A popcorn and drink is $25. Then if you want to really waste a bunch of cash, how about $80 for a shitty novelty popcorn bucket? They literally just kept turning up the price knob until it reached stupid levels, then complain shit’s dying.
