I tried out Lola from Rio's Rice Protein Overnight Balm. Its a pre-shampoo treatment you can use to protect your hair from the beach / sun / chemical treatment recovery. Good so far. Def incorporating this into my hair routine. 🥰🧖🏽♀️

Lilacs progression from the last... Today, I was focused on addling light back into the painting & shadows to show direction of the light. I Started with a 10 & 6 filbert brush For the details moved on to a 8 round brush No medium, oil paint & gamsol #allaprima #oilpainting

So I started on this lilac painting Per usual working dark to light. About a hr for this underpainting. I the indigo & quinacridone oil sticks so far. My usual tube colors: burnt umber, yellow, ultramarine yellow, & white. 1 brush for this: 10 filbert. No medium only gamsol + paint.
I was reminded about these oil sticks because of this oil pastel video
Gotta try these. Might pick some up late today as I am an impatient painter.
