It’s always a risk to get the balconies open and the flowers flowering in this city because the second you do: frost warning. But we couldn’t stop ourselves! The flowers are back and the balconies are clean and gorgeous all thanks to Scott’s mighty efforts!! I just love it all so much! 💕
Went to the island the other day and it was so warm out and the water was so blue and everyone was so happy! I love my city 💙💙
Finished writing my 23rd novel! I can’t quite believe it! But also why does it never get easier writing these things??? Every single book presents new and unique challenges, there is never a singular method to the madness! Anyway this is my celebration: cozy cuddles on a rainy day ❤️❤️
Went to my very first Ice Dogs game last night! My in-laws have been season ticket holders for over 15 years but I haven’t been able to go until last night. Had such a fantastic time! Go Dogs go!! ❤️

Last fall I did a “mini session” photographed by the lovely Erin Hurst and ended up with some delightful "dark academia" pics! I was going for a "professor who isn't upset with you, only disappointed if you don't live up to your potential" kind of aesthetic. Think we nailed it! 😁
It has been a year of highs and lows, but I released 3 books this year and I’m so proud of me for that! As of Friday I have written 22 books! Wha?? How did that happen?? This one was definitely a struggle but the feeling you get when you finish a book makes all the hard work, the self-doubt, all of it, worth it! I'm really rather proud! ❤️ Now here's a picture of me holding my fingers like two 2s. 😊
