Issued a new SRW4 beta to testers with a few more fixes. Getting close, I think -- there haven't been many new tickets, and the issues are getting smaller or more esoteric; just fixed a race condition with Getter 2's Mach Special dodge popup that appears even in the JP version of the game.

Apropos of nothing here is Wachenroder for #RandomGameSaturday this week.
Git activity for the year. (*NOT* github, though. Don't expect to see this activity there.)
For #RandomGameSaturday this week, here's Real Robots Final Attack! Which as of a few weeks ago you can now play in English 👀
So I actually found Mario in the art book! Apparently he was intended to be a potential love interest for Emilia, but was cut due to time constraints.

Wait a minute, this doesn't look like Crime Crackers! I think I landed in the wrong media property! (Test text for intro crawl, all working fine!)

Testing out on screen. Not true ntsc, just a filter, but it's the same sort of double-wide resolution scrunched down to 4:3 that Secret of Mana uses in its menus, and this font is definitely more boldface than SoM's
Subscreen names work! Might tweak the actual graphics a bit (these are pre-drawn, not rendered) but the important thing is that they work!
This arrived yesterday, seems perfect for #RandomGameSaturday so! It's iS internal section for PS1! The packaging on this is wild; the jewel case art is just a sleeve that holds a fold-out manual with some really wacky visuals.
I uh, seem to have found Mario in Crime Crackers's VRAM data?
Got weapon names working! Granted most aren't translated yet, point is that the code works!
