I've seen no actual stories on this, just MAHA social media posts. Is this actually happening? What officers are being "deployed"-- where are they coming from? What are their actual jobs? How is this being arranged? Wtf is happening?

Not clear to me if/when anyone from CDC would be in-country to assist, but the infected US physician is with a NGO in the country and was flown to Berlin for treatment. Godspeed?

Argentina's first level 4 by a lab was opened in October 2025. Ebola, marburg, hanta, nippa and all other deadly viruses are studied and manipulated in BSL for facilities. It's very possible they quickly manipulated the Andy strain of Hanta to make it transmissible
