The baby blue background makes these stickers just pop against it. The child who created this album may have gone into graphic design…
Now you’d think these type of stickers would be pretty commonly unearthed, even still attached to their original sheets. You’d be wrong. They only slide by cheaply because so few collectors are interested in them
Oooooohkay, so it’s sticker day on Bsky. Here’s a small album that tmk has never been shared before and is only going to geek out a super narrow subset of collectors…
The backstory on BatGhost is a mystery, but one thing I do know: his joy? Infectious
This deserves a one page comic. Bob Seeger sees a werewolf climbing on stage “oh not again”. Night Moves makes sense now, he was training to fight werewolves
Dropping secrets: the mutant sea critter companions from Kenner’s Waterworld figures are like a subset of Real Ghostbuster ghosts. They look soooo perfect displayed together
According to the info scrawled on the back, this is “Zach’s brother wearing a mask” on 11/14/78. So late Halloween party or Zach’s bro was just really into wearing masks that look like Eudemon🤷♂️
This Bazooka shampoo bottle is so cool and well sculpted that I forgive him for wearing a Patriots jersey
Keeps saying he’s not into Hasbro WWF, keeps picking them up. OK, this one at least I have an out: nobody can argue that Warrior isn’t a “supernatural” wrestler
If you own a lot of books, the CLZ Books app is a godsend. Easily organizes your library with an aesthetically pleasing display and it’s only $2/month. I’ve still got about 600 more books to log😩
This cyclops randomly popped up at Dollar Tree about 20 years ago, completely unmarked and completely badass. He’s about as tall as a MotU figure, feels hollow and didn’t get any paint apps on his feet. Really fits with D&D toys
Chomper may be the weirdest pack-in ghost from the first series of Kenner’s RGB. Winston’s adversary, Chomper almost looks more like some mutant marsupial than a phantasmagoric specter. He’s got a nice Darby Crash mohawk going too. Ghosts gotta express themselves
Added two of the three APC Micronauts jigsaw puzzles to the collection. Opinions on using photos of the action figures varies, but me, they’re great. Moar.
This “Space Robot” isn’t particularly old, maybe Force Awakens era, but hot damn: he not only has lights and “space sounds”, he’s got a plug in saber that lights up too! Ja-Ru also made a white version, so maybe it’s really more of a KO Baron Karza and Force Commander than a Vader and Stormy🤔
When news of the second series of Toybiz X-Men figures broke in early 1992, no figure had me more hyped than Iceman. Spidey and his Amazing Friends was a -foundational- Saturday Morning ritual.
Extremely random find of the morning. This is the ring bell that was packaged with the LJN WWF Bendie ring. Still works too🤘
It’s a mystery why I, the kid drooling over Marvel’s Inferno comics at the very moment Wheelie hit stores, wasn’t similarly obsessed with these ghostly mofos at the time. I caught up
Lovecraft’s elder gods being featured in the new Minions film reminded me that Kenner snuck some eldritch ish into Real Ghostbusters themselves. Check out Wicked Wheelie’s hidden face…
During Covid isolation this KO blow mold Faker popped up for sale online and I was just smitten by the colors. Never before or since have I seen one with such a beautiful paint job. Folk art may be an understatement
So I’ve got more titles and honorariums than you’d probably imagine, mostly meaningless, but few make me prouder than my charge to keep this Kryptonite rock secure and in a place where it can’t harm Superman. I gotchyr back Kal. “Do Not Give To Batman”
