Yesterday my kid tried to take another look at the birds and they ALL flew off. They haven’t been back since, so I hope they were ready! I took this a few days ago.
We shouldn’t comment on someone’s looks. But the quality of their character and soul is fair game. (In this case, Joe Rogan’s character looks like a grifter who also pretends to be a curious person but is truly not.)
Another trip to Half Price Books. Between the Pern series, and Dune, it makes up a large part of my reading list in highschool.
We had a shared time limit on the kids’ iPads for YouTube, but then one would watch and use up the time. So I made separate accounts for each iPad, and set a time limit on each. Now they both watch one iPad together until they hit the limit, then switch to the other.
I loved the Image series Team 7, which brought us the origin story for much of the Wildstorm universe. Military tale w/ genetic experiments giving a squad mental powers. Art by Aron Wiesenfeld, a great unsung penciller. I didn’t know the Team 7 story continued in Sleeper, written by Ed Brubaker!
For a few days there were 3 little baby birds and 1 egg still to hatch. I’m glad to see the 4th egg finally hatched!
From what I can tell it’s just these 3 with this spine design? Anyone know if the first 3 have versions like this?
I found copies of Dune with the correct artwork and title fonts. Just need to find the first 3 now.
