Space invader, lookin' cute in a human suit. 💖💜💙
Picked up Monster Hunter Wilds today. I can't say it's my first MH because technically I tried and bounced off of Rise but something clicked this time and I have spent hours becoming a journeyman of the Heavy Bowgun.
Hoo boy. Got the intermediate layering done on the white armor for one White Scar. Took about an hour. And I have all of the Armageddon box plus a few extra marines I had laying around left to do. And this is only one step. I gotta long road ahead of me lol.
Did some rebasing of a squad of White Scars Intercessors to match the desert scheme I want to do for the rest of the Scars I plan to paint from my Armageddon box. I'm pretty happy with the way they look! #warhammer40k #40k
I'd pray too if I couldn't see and someone had handed me a Lewis Gun. #trenchcrusade
The second half of my Trench Crusade Prussian warband is finally done! Some shipping mishaps delayed it but it is at last ready to go. I had a lot of fun playing with more weathering and a dirtier style than I'm used to painting on these. #miniaturepainting #trenchcrusademiniatures #trenchcrusade
My brain, when I'm 20 minutes of work from the end of painting my Trench Crusade Prussians and havent even started painting any of my Armageddon box: "You should repaint all of the power armor on your entire Sisters of Battle Army and redo the bases so noth of them aren't the same brown color."
A year or so ago I painted some Intercessors I had on hand as White Scars. Now I have the Space Marine half of Armageddon to do and they'll be White Scars too. But question: Red helmet on the Sgt - yes or no? Alternate options are white with red scar like the rest, or only red faceplate. #40k
Day 11: stole ration pack after getting lucky and lockpicking my cage in the middle of the night. Guard blundered in, back in cage now. Ow. I suspect this will not be my last beating.
Update: still slaves! But I accidentally right clicked on something and this was interpreted as an escape attempt so I was beated to a pulp and strapped to The Pole. At least they bandaged my chest? Escaping will apparently be very difficult and this may all just end with "died escaping."
I thought we were starting at rock bottom with nothing to lose, but i was wrong because literally as soon as we started they stole our hair, threw me in a cage and tied Alan to a pole near the giant statue we are presumably building in this pit in the desert. Adventure!
Picked up Kenshi today, a game I've had my eye on for a while now. Because I never make things easy on myself and don't want to look up anything about how to play I chose the "Slaves" start. It gave me two characters so naturally I made myself and my friend Alan and together we are slaves. Yippee?
Dudes and dude-adjacent people of the world - get you a friend who doesn't have a Masculinity Crisis when you tell him he's your "Co-Op RPG Husband."
Me trying to explain any of the books I read to my family who read nonfiction and historical fiction.
Only one way to deal with everyone on the server almost dying in a massive zombie horde and having to lie up at home for a while to heal.
I unlocked and have been using this character, called the Hex Breaker, in Hunt Showdown and Kelsey walked in, looked at him, looked at me, and went. "Yeah, that's a David Character." And then left.
DNF'd Angel Down today. Related, I really wish I had started a book thread for this year because I've been reading and enjoying a lot and this is the first thing I've read that just...wasn't it.
Day 10 dawns and we have managed to settle in a grasslands biome on the coast. There is a huge patch of rich soil near a ruined hut that we are repairing for shelter and we have managed to start planting crops to solve the issue of food. Many hyenas around, could become a threat later.
Already the journey has proved dangerous as a random Impid with knife and (somehow) an antibiotics addiction attempted to attack the convoy. Fortunately Kaito and Johnson found a pair of handguns in the crash wreckage and were able to defend the unarmed members of the group. #rimworld
With immediate danger past, these are the survivors of the crash who have become my first colonists: Stevie Collins - 28f, Colony Settler Levin Lossfelt - 53m, Chemist Zion Grace - 35f, Corporate Financier Johnson Weiss - 20m, Concept Artist Kaito Bond - 50m, Policeman
The survivors of the crash begin their journey north to (hopefully) a more sustainable place to settle. The journey will take us past several hostile faction camps, but the alternative is head south through a massive mountain range with no roads or stay in a baking desert, so we chance it. #rimworld
Video games I desperately want that will never be made: Take Hunt: Showdown And make it a *co-op* PVE Stalker game. Print money as I buy it for everyone I know and drag them screaming into the pit with me.
With medical emergencies dealt with and the crash food enough to keep us going for a while before it starts to spoil, it's time to start thinking long term. The rocky desert we crashed in is a terrible place to settle long term, so we are planning to move north to The Gulf of Icyeye.
We've suffered another fatality, sadly. Ileana Turner was struck by shrapnel from a chunk of crashing ship which severed her right arm, and before we could get to her she had lost too much blood to save. That said, the remaining 5 survivors look like they will recover from their injuries.
There is a weirdly large amount of sushi among the food we managed to haul from the wreckage but I am not going to look gift nigiri in the mouth.
