The neighborhood hooligans surprised me tonight. I didn’t see them until I was right next to them! 15 ft away! Two in a group of eight.
Back on my walk habit after a virus rocked me for a week. 🚶♀️spent half my time weeding, taking pictures, easing back in. 🌱
I saw a new to me native today, cucumber root, Medeola virginiana Kinda boring without flowers, but I was excited to see one.
My current obsession? The baby bunnies in the backyard. Extremely small. Extremely cute.
Saw a cool bug. INat says it’s a copper underwing moth en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amphipy...
I learned how to cut trail today. This is the 20 ft or so that I did.
🌱 pepper and tomato seedlings almost ready to get hardened off outside.
I grew these Virginia bluebells from seed! Im so pleased they are still alive and want to bloom. 🌱
I did it, I turned the discount veal into meatballs! They are pretty good if I do say so myself and will stock my freezer for a bit.
Went for my usual walk yesterday and noticed some green among the brown. It’s a magnolia sapling! 🌱
I’m beginning to feel like Snow White. Today a red tailed hawk and yesterday a fox.
