Well it took much longer than anticipated. I had to disassemble everything just to remove the elbow joiner on the original setup. Glad i keep a hairdryer in the shed! Reassemble. Then disassemble and reassemble b/c leaks in worst possible position. Goes like a dream now! ✨🤩

How crazy is this unseasonably warm weather! The temperature has been increasingly steadily since before lunchtime yesterday. So hot overnight. In what used to be a normal summer here overnight minimums on average would have been lower than last night (winter).
We saw a Bassian thrush this morning. Big thrill! Sadly we didn’t hear them sing (there were two but I only saw one).

From Saturday. Those mother kangaroos are super-women. The size and weight of the joeys in the pouch make moving hard work. And they are often feeding an adolescent and pouch joey concurrently. Hard core mothers!
That makes sense. We are east-west of each other, more than n-s. There are blocking “mountains” that seem to affect the rain as well.
Sadly not a lot. Nothing filled up - not even the little dishes on the ground for the ducks. Bitterly disappointing. Good thing was i got a chance to be RIGHT🥳 (tradie didn’t want to come b/c foul weather forecast. I told him to come <because nothing will happen>. He did. And nothing happened LOL.
