I'm not seeing the flows to shares with fully franked dividends like your post - there's even a big drop in inflows from May to June to Aus Equity which is half big4 + miners (but IMO 1 month data is not that useful - see last 2 years below). CGT Rules start in a year, we'll see what happens then..

Nah, can't see any world where you'd be able to heat the home, have hot water, and charge the EV all off solar in the middle of winter in New Zealand or any of the southern parts of Australia. We definitely need grid plus hydro and wind. Maybe if you're in Queensland you could go off grid?

Already doing my bit (in Vic some providers have had an offering in the market for a while) with heating, dryer, dishwasher, EV trickle charge.. I wonder when this will have a visible impact on price spread between the 10.55 interval and the subsequent 5 min?
I've signed up. Peak pricing is 3c/kWh more expensive and off-peak is only 1c/kWh higher. Daily charge is the same. Need to use <2kWh per day in the free period to break even.

I put your original prompt (no mention of electricity) through ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude 4.5 and 4.6 (all free). The only one that referenced the IEA figures was Gemini but it said this was the thermal value and also gave the correct values for electricity generation.
Specify electricity in your prompt and any model from the last 18 months will get the ballpark 160 MTCO2-e.
