Instead, I decided to troubleshoot some low-rpm lag in this little firecracker. I learned the hard way that it runs out of gas at 1/4 on the gauge. I pulled into a farmers driveway to get it off the road.

How about a little positivity? This is how I plan to be visible today. Assuming I can get the electric radiator fan working, I'm going to be cruising around in the 1954 Studebaker that my Dad left me.

It's not. I found a reply where they didn't black out the name in the "To:" field. I looked it up. It's Robert Trivers, an evolutionary biologist and professor at Rutgers. He appears elsewhere in the files.

It's snowing. A few flakes apparently warrants multiple emergency alerts. Not that long ago, we would have described this as "Wednesday". @flibones.bsky.social suggested that the alert was an attempt to discourage folks from going to the Renée Good vigil/anti-ICE rally. I'm inclined to agree.

I did the thing. These were a long time coming. Disney walking back LGBTQ+ inclusion, Colbert, Kimmel, mergers and acquisitions too mindbogglingly large to keep up with. HBO has been in decline since Discovery acquired them. Besides, piracy is really the more ethical choice at this point.

Dear Mr. Marcelis, Ms. Gurman, and Mr. Fanelli,

The story originally titled "Ammunition in Kirk Shooting Engraved with Transgender, Antifascist Ideology: Sources" is a dangerous journalistic failure, and the revised version and its accompanying editor's note do not go far enough to correct the error. In fact, the revised headline does nothing to take transgender people out of the spotlight, leaving them in danger of retaliation.

I understand that the days of objective journalism are far behind us, and that you have executives and politicians to whom you must capitulate. Nevertheless, if you or any of the people you serve believe a single word of the platitudes calling for an end to the culture of violence, it is incumbent on you to issue a full-throated admission of journalistic malpractice and a direct and unequivocal apology to the transgender community. We will be hunted by people who saw your headline, and if any violence comes of it, the blood will be on your hands.

I drove to Seattle today. It took over nine hours to get there. Part of the delay—two hours or so—was the construction in the Vantage Bridge. The rest was this. I-90 was closed between Ellensburg and Cle Elum. This is what it looked like *past* the closure. Imagine what it was like further back!
