You shared a podcast a few months ago about how people's social circles inform their opinions on things, which I thought was really interesting (and more true than most would like to admit)

I think part of the creepiness of your recent AI usage has not only been the AI usage itself, but the way you seem to want to "impress" random chuds on Twitter instead of your actual audience of Nerdfighters. The constant "this post is only for Twitter" is making you hang out in social circles that are influencing your opinions on the permissibly of AI usage, methinks.

Please don't go looking for this poster but this is *exactly* why Hank using AI for research is so dangerous. People trust him to be able to sort through BS, but if he's so crunched for time, there's no earthly way (imo) that he's double-checking all the facts that the misinfo machine spits out.

hankgreen just said that he uses #AI to make his videos, I *think* as a research tool, and he's so knowledgeable that IMO, it's fine. He can tell when an LLM gives him shit information.

Jim makes his way to the Hispaniola and cuts the ship from its anchor, drifting it along the ebb tide. He boards the ship and encounters the pirate Israel Hands, who had been injured in a drunken dispute with one of his companions. Hands helps Jim beach the schooner in the northern bay, then attempts to kill Jim with a dagger, but Jim shoots him dead with two pistols.

Thinking about this a lot lately.

I checked back and somehow the google AI result when you search "Spent: A Comic Novel" has gotten weirder. The source just links to a video of Alison talking about the book which obviously does exist!! Wtf?

There is no book titled Spent: A Comic Novel by Alison Bechdel; however, Alison Bechdel is the author of the graphic memoirs Fun Home and Are You My Mother?, and she also wrote the comic strip Dykes to Watch Out For. It's possible there's a misunderstanding or a misremembered title, as Bechdel's work is known for its autobiographical and often humorous content, but Spent is not one of her published works.
