That was my big takeaway too. The resisting of MVP bait. The Steph shot and overall dominance was certainly impressive, but I’ve never seen someone resist MVP bait quite like that.

Those were a couple of professional wins. Chet was great tonight. Made everything so difficult at the rim for the Rockets. CTG has HOU at 52% on rim attempts for the game. Look at all that BLUE!
That was a very satisfying win. The teams were so even in 3PT shooting, rebounds, free throw attempts, turnovers, etc. I can't believe OKC won it with their halfcourt offense! Demons in the paint tonight.

The most efficient, high usage guard seasons in NBA history (>30% USG, >65% true shooting). It's still early, but it's wild that SGA is right there with 2016 Steph in terms of efficiency and the advanced stats (2016 Steph's +10.5 EPM is the highest ever. SGA is currently at +10.9).
First time I’ve heard this reason for why the league is rigging it for OKC.
This is the last 3 yrs for OKC's defense per CTG. Through 11 games, OKC has been top-5 in defensive rebounding, slightly better than post-ASB last season. Relatedly, even with missed games, Chet/IHart have already played about half the min (155) they played together all last season (316).
