Fairy Ring After a couple days of heavy rain (2 1/2 inches) in Missouri, August heat and the resulting humidity, a fairy ring presented itself to me this morning. I'm unsure of the mushroom species. Any of you mycologists out there care to ID these champignon?
My Spider Plant Collection Given the high humidity in my area, these Spider Plants love it on my screened in deck. All of them are descendants from the original Momma Spider bought years ago. In the Winter, they live in the basement under LED lights on for 12 hours daily.

Early Spring ID of Leeks versus Garlic? My garden patch is mature, allowing seasonal volunteers to sprout up "as is." Spring leek and garlic volunteers are difficult to ID. I want young leeks, but when I pull a it is garlic. How to tell the difference via a visual, aroma, color, old wife's tale ?

In the process of transitioning from a flat land garden plot to a raised bed. You gotta look real hard to see the yellow string, but that marks the position of the raised bed walls. Any experience or criticism is invited.
