We have concluded all games from Wednesday 5.1.74. Here are the latest standings. The AL East is tough. Our Red Sox are 1 game under .500, but that puts them in last place. Expos have extended their losing streak to 6 games.
5.1.74 - NL MON 1, SDP 5 - Dave Freisleben w/ a 4H CG Win - Derrel Thomas w/ 3 more Hs out of leadoff spot, now hitting .323 - Dave Winfield w/ BB, 1B, 2B & SB ATL 6, STL 5 - Cards tied it in 8th, Braves came back w/ 2 in 9th - Ralph Garr w/ 3 RBI & 2 Rs from leadoff spot - Ken Reitz 2 Hs (.420)
5.1.74 - NL CIN 5, PIT 3 - Famous gm where Dock Ellis tried to prove Bucs weren't scared of Reds, so he hit 1st 3 batters, then walked Pérez trying to hit him as well. He was removed by Murtaugh - not ejected!!! - Pirates actually led 3-2 after 4 - Morgan reached on 2B, BB, HBP, then stole 2 bases
5.1.74 - NL CHC 7, HOU 11 - Astros posted 5 in 5th to break 3-3 tie - Lee May drove in 4 w/ a pair of 2R 1Bs - Greg Gross drove in 2 & scored 3X after 2 2Bs NYM 1, LAD 2 (14) - S Garvey bases-loaded 1B ended the marathon - T Seaver went 12, allowing 3 Hs, striking out 16 - A Messersmith went 11

We have concluded all games from Tuesday 4.30.74. Here are the latest standings. After starting 9-2, the Expos have lost 5 in a row. They are still in 2nd place. Going the opposite direction, the Indians have won 5 in a row, propelling them to. 2nd place in the AL East.
