On the one hand, I turned in the new draft of DEAD END BOYS to my editor and my agent, but on the other hand, I saw that someone compared Graham Platner to Dr. King. It's time to log off and enjoy a celebratory dinner with my wife while America slides sideways into Hell!

Just took a walk at Loyola beach, and now that winter is over the giant craggy ice dunes and scores of unhappy birds no longer float on miniature icebergs. It looks like planet Earth now, and while I hate winter, I miss that bizarre bird convention and alien landscape.

Remember when Fabio got hit by a goose or something during a rollercoaster ride? I hope that if there is some sort of afterlife, that in the Beyond, I’ll be able to witness such moments for myself.
