I have had a checkered career in the technology industry, where I have spent most of my time explaining complex concepts to people in ways that they can put them to practical use. Now that I am more or less retired, I still try to explain things.
Please ask Blanche to explain this redaction. I don't see how it could fit ANY of the reasons he gave.
Many people don't see any problem with the SAVE Act or other efforts to restrict voting to just U.S. citizens. They say, "What's the big deal? You have to show an ID for all sorts of things; why should voting be any different?" /1
Would someone PLEASE ask Blanche to explain this redaction. Bondi said that he was responsible for all the redactions, so he should have an answer. This appears to be redacted in violation of the requirements of the law that Congress passed.
Congressional Republicans are getting ready to add billions to the deficit, by approving $67 billion for President Trump's War with Iran. With no offsetting spending cuts. Tell me again; which party is for small government, fiscal restraint, and reducing the deficit?
President Trump wants a national debt ceiling? Why? So he can ignore it?
Rest assured that I promise to work really hard on those days when I'm here. Probably. Unless the tasks get really complicated and hard. Yours, Congressional Republicans * "Boss" = the US taxpayers who pay them to do their job.
National Intelligence has NO BUSINESS getting involved in domestic elections, federal or otherwise. The courts must be ready to step in hard against any actions by federal government agencies to disrupt the November elections. An attack on elections is an attack on the Constitution and our country.
As reported by Punchbowl News: Sen. Thune: “We just can’t have the program [FISA] go dark.” When Senate Democrats are given the choice between a bad program led by an unqualified, unconfirmed "acting" DNI who doesn't have a security clearance, and no program, how do you expect them to choose?
I just called my Senators to express my strenuous objection to the nominations of both Pulte and Blanche. I hope that the Senate has learned from their disasterous confirmations of other nominations by President Trump, including Bondi and Noem. We can't allow this clown-car Cabinet to continue.
Remember how long it took during Trump 1.0 for the mainstream media to stop using euphamisms such as "untruths" or "misinformation" and start calling them lies? /1
My big question: would mRNA vaccine research have been helpful in combatting this new virus, should it become more widespread?
He HATES having to pay other people money. Even when it was their money in the first place and he took it illegally. ESPECIALLY when he took it illegally!
You know why? Because the banks and credit card companies will make a ton of money on the interest (and late fees)!
The price of oil (WTI) has doubled this year, thanks to Trump's War. If this is what winning looks like, I shudder to think what losing would bring....
How soon will the DJIA drop below $45K, a 10% drop? Surely the billionaire class can't be too happy about that....
Here's your proof that even Representatives get sub-standard healthcare. You need to be President to have access to life-saving healthcare.
Guess what, Americans? President Trump doesn't "give a <bleep> about housing."
...Lest this get lost in the shuffle of news: The FDA flat out refused to consider Moderna's application for a mRNA flu vaccine. Here are some important points: /1
...because what the world so desperately needs most is another ballroom. Feeding starving children and fighting preventable diseases worldwide apparently don't make the list at all.
As reported by the @penncapital-star.com: “More uninsured Pennsylvanians means delayed care, worse health outcomes, and a greater reliance on emergency rooms. When conditions go untreated..., /1
Some good news coming out of today's budget bill passage is that key telehealth services have been reinstated. According to the American Telemedicine Association, the legislation covers: /1
Telehealth is not just about saving lives in sparsely populated rural areas. It's about helping patients in cities and underserved communities. It's about helping patients with chronic conditions or mobility issues or financial constraints that make it difficult to get to healthcare providers. /1
I received an article in my news feed with this headline: "Taiwan targets four research priorities to maintain semiconductor leadership" Guess what we're doing in the U.S.? We're DISMANTLING research across just about every area of scientific study. This will set our industries back by decades.
She should just ask the Labor Department for the contact info for the models they used for their "Build the Future" posters. I'm sure any one of them would be cool with becoming a trad husband.
The President is just one person. The only power he has is that which has been ceded to him by others. Our job is to make it more painful for those enablers to keep up their support of him than it would be to join the opposition and defend our Constitution and our country.
❌❌❌ STOP THE COUP! ❌❌❌ [Is there any doubt that it's happening in full force? When was the last time that U.S. citizens actively worried that elections might be blocked/cancelled/overruled? Why were there "TRUMP 2028" hats in the Oval Office?] a57.foxnews.com/static.foxne...
If it is indeed a false narrative, the answer is simple; PROVE IT! Release the files!
I am SO TIRED of the NYT headlines. (The articles still do a decent job of reporting, it appears.) I'm not quite ready to cancel my subscription as I did with WaPo, but I'm getting close....
