Wow. Look at that. 15 years ago today, I got the news that would utterly change the trajectory of my life. So grateful. It's never too late to pursue your wildest dreams. I was 40+ at the time.
I'll say it again, I have the SWEETEST students. An intro student brought to these to me. Love the color of the roses! But also just such a lovely and thoughtful thing to do. Grief has made things challenging lately, and these make me smile every time I look at them.
Unbelievable that today marks 9 years since my beautiful, kind, funny boy left this plane. I don't know how we survive every day without him. Miss him every day, but today is particularly hard. "Grief is all the love that now has nowhere to go."
So, I guessed the snow looked a bit more than 8" We just measured... 8.5 ! Still coming down.
Loved this book by @toryhenwoodhoen.bsky.social (last month's @bookofthemonth.bsky.social pick). It's a story about grief and loss and finding ourselves and forgiving ourselves. And it's delightful.
