Happy Sunday! Yesterday was full of stress and anxiety. Today I'm leaning hard into my Sunday rest routine and grounding exercises. Really trying to honor my body and mind today and what I need.

Good morning~ First day back from "vacation" (ie house/pet sitting) and it's hard to get back into the swing of things. It's raining out today and all I really want to do is curl up with a book. But I have a commission to write and other tasks to do.
Good afternoon~ We are back home from house sitting and it honestly feels really good to be back. Dorothy said it best: there is no place like home! Luna and the garden was all fine, though Luna was a bit perturbed we were gone for 2 nights.
Good morning~ I have been mostly offline for the past few days just enjoying some sunshine, pool time, and good vibes. I'll probably continue to be offline until Monday when I'm back home and picking up my normal routine.
As for a fun fact? I've been Tolkien obsessed since I was a teen and try to hobbitmax my life as much as possible. If I'm not writing then I'm out in my garden or playing a video game (currently playing Deltarune Chapter 5). I'm fueled by coffee and owned by my mini panther. I'm also a bisexual enby
Good afternoon~ Had a gig shift early this morning that got me the rest of the way needed to pay rent! So that's handled. I also had just enough left over to get a coffee treat to cool down with (gig was manual labor in the heat/sun). Black Forest iced coffee from a local place was PERFECT!

Good afternoon and happy Monday~ About a month ago I started journaling again and I'm so glad that I did. It's done wonders to help keep me at least somewhat sane through all the stress lately. Other sources of comfort: coffee, Middle Earth, and working on my own stories.
Happy Summer Solstice~! Spending time in nature beneath the sun has been so good for my nervous system. I've been on edge and panicking all week, and while the issues I'm facing have not disappeared (unfortunately) I do feel much calmer. #witchsky #summersolstice

Good morning~ Going into the city later for some gig work, but starting my day reading The Silmarillion. My edition has a letter from Tolkien in it that contains proof that he supported other ppl adding onto his mythos. in other words, miss me with the "og characters only" stuff in adaptations.
