Another “training flight” over Elliott Bay. This has become a common sight, & something I’d not seen until recently. It’s hard to believe this isn’t Trumpy military leaders sending the message that we no longer live in a free country. There is no legitimate reason for two Chinooks to buzz a ferry.

Two Chinooks fly low over a Washington State ferry, moments after they passed over my West Seattle residence at such a low altitude that I thought pictures might be shaken off the walls.

It was a beautiful summer day in Vantage, WA when I drove through there yesterday. I wish I was back there today instead of working.

Today did nothing to dissuade me from my suspicion for several months now that the stock market has been tracing out a rounding top.

This is promising. For many years, the vacant building on the corner across the street was the headquarters of the local effort to elect Trump. Many other pro-Trump signs used to be visible in the yards of local residents. The only other flag I saw today was a fading Kamala Harris rainbow flag.
