Great news. 10K+ #lungcancer cases now detected by NHS mobile scanning units in England - 75% at stage 1 or 2, when survival rates are nearly 13X higher. This programme targets those with smoking history aged 55-74. In our ALK+ UK community, 73% never smoked and 1/2 are < 50 at diagnosis. #LCSM

Understanding the needs and experiences of our ALK+ #lungcancer community helps us to better support and advocate for them. Treatment challenges are a big part of that reality. Different treatments bring different challenges - and this data helps us make sure those challenges are heard. #LCSM

At 7 years, 44% of people with ALK+ #lungcancer on lorlatinib in the CROWN trial are still on treatment. This remarkable data will be presented at ASCO 2026 in Chicago next week. After 7 years of follow-up, the median progression-free survival with lorlatinib has still not been reached. #LCSM

Real-world data has confirmed what trials suggested: for people with ALK+ #lungcancer, alectinib’s survival advantage over crizotinib holds up outside clinical trials. 940 patients. Lorlatinib showed a promising trend vs alectinib, but only 36 pts. www.lungcancerjournal.info/article/S016... #LCSM

New March 2026 data from Cancer Research UK shows #lungcancer death rates in the UK have fallen by 22% over the past decade. But the picture is very different for men and women. Over the last decade, lung cancer incidence rates rose by 8% in women, while falling by 13% in men. #LCSM
