Most of my plants are trees. Here’s a sycamore (watercolor on paper) and then doctored on my iPad for Christmas as well.
Probably borderline but this to me fits into your surreal category.
Where in Scotland? Visited last year and we loved every bit of it. Had to paint the chimneys in Edinburgh when I got back. Many other pics I hope to put to paper/canvas.

Attempted self portrait last year. Didn’t quite finish it tho. A lot more lines on this face than I realized…maybe that’s why I stopped.🤪

My friend is getting ready to publish one and asked me to do a piece for the cover. His story takes place in the Hudson Valley near West Point, NY so I painted a piece centered on Storm King Mountain overlooking the Hudson River. #stormking
One of my early paintings was sold for $30 at a coop. Never saw them…just got the cash. A year later I saw it posted on IG with a note that said they bought it cuz their friend go passed was in it. He’s the guy with the big white beard in the foreground. I had no idea. #serendipity #buckscountyart
