Now playing A great album loved it when it came out last year Still holds up end to end @theatreroyal.bsky.social
When you’re cooking dinners ready but you want to hang back in the kitchen cos of the tunes
Spinning this loved “Lusaka by night” picked up the album in Hastings today. The album sounds fresh it’s very good
Lighten up your routine Monday early evening with some tunes that still sound fresh and sharp
Spinning this I think Ian Broudie is a great underrated songwriter melodic with a nice line in mostly disguised melancholia. Tilt is my favourite LS album but this is a beauty too
I could just listen to Mr Bongo Record Club compilations all weekend
I’ve spun vinyl today from Stan Getz, Noel Gallaghers High Flying Birds, Desmond Dekker and The Showtimers (yes teenagers I’m showing off) but this is the most arresting sound today it’s a beauty. Third play through it’s a stunner
Music lifers. Can anyone help me with this? My mum had this EP and I rinsed it as a kid like I did much of her collection of 45s. Showtimers - London band - didn’t do much. The track listing on this EP is in part wrong. However it’s a great EP. Anyone know anything about it or them?
Cooking Sunday dinner. Spinning something for the crazy kids down at the youth club. It’s a beauty
This still sounds great end to end one of the finest compilations from a label that knocked it out the park for compilations
