Going out to the Farne Islands , seeing seals, nesting kitiwakes, & puffins, lots of puffins.
This is my cat, he has taken himself off to the neighbours, joining their bbq, getting some essential attention, generally continuing, on his quest, to train all the neighbours as his minions.
I'm on holiday, this is my view from my hammock. Ok if I move the camera you may see another tent or caravan. Even so it's wonderfully relaxed.
Why is it cats disapprove so much when I sneeze, alt text tells it better. He was asleep again within seconds.
Not my cat. Meet Snowy, he thinks my garden is his domain, possibly something to do with the neighbours having plastic grass. He is the most chilled cat ever.
I’m not. I use borrow box for our local library ebooks, I like it because I read books I might not have picked up otherwise. Just reserved Hooked, by the same author as Butter, Butter is an excellent book.
This beauty has just flown over the house, didn't see it but the sound was amazing
Marking the Leila dress, making it in a floaty floral, doing it as the maxi dress. Very summery.
These 2 are seriously unimpressed that the heating has barely turned on today, because it's so mild out.
These 2 do the same. And god forbid I try and have a lie, they get very vocal for breakfast.
A child actor, on BBC breakfast has just said the wisest thing ever, no matter your background, rich or poor, children need some kind of guide to keep then on the rails.....when this doesn't happen bad things happen.
I do love a good book recommendation. Another one I highly recommend is The seven moons of Maali Almeida. Darkly comic, set with the Sri Lankan civil war as its back drop.
I've hot a wobbly cat, she's not very wobbly. She's brilliant, she forgets she's a little wobbly & falls off stuff. Remarkably when stalking prey the wobbles miraculously disappear, best mouser I've ever had.
The tree is complete. It looks tinseltastic. Doesn't look at it's best from this angle but I couldn't be bothered moving.
The first decoration is on. Mum bought me this the first Christmas I was in this house. He never goes in the the Christmas decorations box, but stays in the sitting room, hanging off a picture hook, above a mirror.
