I find vintage river-sanded uranium glass pieces in a Salem, MA river and make jewelry from it. Here's Taylor wearing a piece at San Diego Comic-Con yesterday! If you're interested in stuff I have, let me know!
I'm not really gonna do it but it'd be funny as a contrast to the standardized, beige, coastal look I eschew. Kinda this vibe 😅
The dream: The payoff for slogging through the cold, gray winters is the beautiful sun and warmth of late spring and summer The reality:
Did you have a go-to pandemic food? One of mine were these potato patties. Cook 'em up, top with balsamic glaze and s&p, add a vegetable and it's a servicable meal. So they've stayed in the rotation.
Not anti-AI writ large, but please stop with the oversaturated, busy, otherworldly AI posters and other promotional graphics
Slides like this: I don't get it. Every time you walk they flop off your foot. Now I have to do an uncomfortable foot clench exercise with each step. For shoes that aren't cool to begin with. No thanks.
If you're a reporter and you're not doing your job on horseback, whatcha doing??
This winter (and spring )brought to you by tea with cold foam. Latest try:
A friend wanted a site that could aggregate, inform and (where people could) converse about the proliferation of grifters, scammers, "coaches", people selling services that they can't deliver on, MLMs, etc. Content and design by me. www.griftalert.com Need a site designed? Let me know!
Funnily, I'm right now watching this random documentary I found on Tubi (I love Tubi) and not only is DVD in it but so is his a cappella group, The Vantastix, which my friend Mike is in (the one facing the camera)

Wouldn't you like this sodalite bracelet? That I made? www.etsy.com/listing/4463...
I posted recently about how great Neil Sedaka was sounding. So sad to hear he's gone. I actually saw him when I was a kid. Now as a professional music (degreed!) person, I appreciate him even more as one of our best pop songwriters, a master of melody + mood. And by all accounts, a really nice man.
Wait, people are feeding their Frenchies...what now?? You dog people are weirder than I thought. 😄
I had no idea I was thanked in Mark's amazing new (bestselling) book. Good thing I read acknowledgements! Thanks and congrats, Mark! And everyone reading this: get the book!
I'm in mourning. Just used up the last of the (seasonal) salted maple cold foam. Bring it back, Trader Joe's!
