Per usual, I’m late to the party! Just got the audiobook for The Unlikely Pursuit of Mary Bennet by @lindzmcleod.bsky.social and it is an absolute delight!

To this point, I went to my very first paint and sip event with a friend last night and created this! Will it ever end up in a museum? No. But I, a HUMAN, painted it. And my kids have requested that it be hung in their room, so THAT is priceless. 💖

They have returned. Frank’s (our dog) annual time of annoyance is about to begin. These little guys build their nest near our back door, and it drives Frank bananas than he can’t reach to them.😆

Again with this damn painting. I didn’t notice it was crooked until, literally, the touch faucet on the kitchen sink (which is located directly below the painting) turned on by itself for a second and then turned back off. I was on the other side of the kitchen packing lunches when it did this.

Have just heard Lincoln in the Bardo might become a movie and I SO hope this happens! This might be the weirdest book I’ve ever read, and I loved it!

Apparently our house ghost doesn’t like the television now. We woke up to this. All children were in bed all night, so we know it wasn’t a kid accident. I am…stumped by this. Time for a house cleanse? Getting slightly concerned.

Little Women was the first book I ever sobbed over. I was maybe ten-years-old then and have re-read it many times since and have seen every movie adaptation. I just started the audiobook for #BethIsDead by Katie Bernet and am already LOVING this modern take on the March sisters. 🖤

January Bloom. With all the terrible news each day, I’m doing my best to remember and appreciate the beauty that can still be found in the world. I have to believe that someday, hopefully sooner than later, we’ll arrive in a better tomorrow.
