Did the long wait, at Requiem Cafe, for the Mob Psycho 100 VAs. More I waited with my eldest who wanted to go. I wanted a tasty drink. Anyways, almost 4 hours but we made it, got the tasty drink while she met most the VAs. The youngest loves the hangout tree house.

Had a customer ask if I play guitar pointing at my tattoo of Reg Smithies’ (of the chameleons) guitar. I said I’ve only dabbled & explained the story behind the ink. He then went on to tell me all the bands his played with, & I got to tell him how I’ve seen most of them, if not multiple times now.

Happy Birthday to the one and only Siouxsie Sioux. Still can’t believe how close (in the yellow circled area) we got to the stage and how big the crowd actually was at Cruel World’s rescheduled set in 2023. I hope she will come out to LA again someday. I’d love to see her in a non festival setting.

Last month I went to Bobarbear specifically for their Mothra mug, which was sold out along with most of their menu offerings. Then a 2nd trip after a phone call saying she was back in stock, we got there and found out they restocked Godzilla only but we could preorder Mothra. Today she made it home!

Diving into my long box of comics to look thru my Sam Kieth collection. I knew I had the full run of the Maxx, but didn’t realize how great of condition they still are being 30+ years old. I didn’t get them at release but found them in back issues at my local comic shop in AK during the late 90’s.

I’m happier news. I went to the Knights of Guinevere panel at Nucleus Gallery. I’m looking forward to what the crew has cooked up for the series. Tons of beautiful art on display by some of the most talented folks in animation. Go check it out while it’s up.
