If you got one of my unassembled LEGO minifig head SAOs at @defcon.bsky.social, here’s the assembly guide, including an interactive BOM for part placement. amiedd.github.io/brick-head-d.... #defcon34
We are giving a tech talk at @hackadayofficial.bsky.social Supercon with @dr.supersat.phd in a few weeks 🩷 What happens when your body is the dev board? Dive into the wild world of biohacking, rogue experiments, and deeply questionable decisions in the name of science, curiosity, and chaos.
More PCB ribbons I made this year for @dragoncon.org, as always I use @kicad.org for my board designs ❤️🩷
Soldered something for the first time today since my cataract surgery. I’m super happy with the 2 color led technique and to be able to actually see out of my right eye finally! Those 1204 side LEDs and some hot glue magic for diffusion are my happy place right now. It’s soo cute! #PCBart
We went to the champagne region outside of Paris, that was pretty. We were able to go in the caves where they make and store champagne. The entire process was fascinating.
Clearly tourism and social media wasn’t a thing in 1974, look how empty it is in front of the Eiffel Tower when my mom was there.
My mom passed away in 2021. My dad recently digitized all my mom‘s old photos from when she traveled. And now I’ve been going around the world retaking photos in the same places she stood. 51 year difference at Notre-Dame and the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.
Drinking wine and building LEGO on the plane is the best way to keep me quite on a flight 🤣🤣
Home from Paris. Can confirm @samantha-snyder.bsky.social and myself bought entirely too much fabric 🤣
Popping over to Paris for my friends birthday and to do some fabric shopping for my first quarter 2025 cosplay projects. Pink hair is making it hard to be in incognito mode 🩷🤣.
This part of my Anna cosplay from the movie Van Helsing. I still can’t believe it’s been over 20 years since that movie came out. My workflow is primarily using Clo3D. Only exception is corsets, which can be challenging to simulate digitally, so I often do a mock up in person a few times.
When corsets only have a 1mm tolerance for accuracy, why cut the fabric by hand? 🤣 @xtool-official.bsky.social P2S laser cutter is helping me with my mockups :)
These effect build plates are soo cool!! It looks so pretty with my filament color, Blood of My Enemies ❤️❤️ #3DPrinting
At least you know how much it is if you pay in advance. You have no idea what it will be with FedEx, UPS, or DHL.
Photo 1 is the $12 tariff tax I had to pay. Photo 2 is a order I made on January 22nd. Both from JLC, who I order from frequently, and this is the first time I’ve had to pay the tariff tax.
