Not funny, per se, but I do enjoy bringing this one up every so often.
Dove deep into the archives for this picture I like to call “Morning Commute.” I took this way back in August 2006 in Dbrovnik, Croatia, a gorgeous walled city on the ocean. This is in the old town. For Game of Thrones fans, Dubrovnik was used for scenes set in King’s Landing.
A more recent photo (April 2023) from a trip to Iceland. I love the moodiness of the photo. This is outside Vik. On the other side of the headland is a beach we visited that has since been washed away.
Yet another shot from my archives, this from March 2014 along the Avenue of the Giants in Northern California. I went on a hike with some coworkers doing a work trip. The photo doesn’t really do justice to the massive size of the fallen tree.
Another photo from the archives. This is a fledgling albatross in a preserve in far northwestern Oahu. Taken 2012. Had to hike out along a washed out road to get there. The hike was a bit sketchy in parts, but worth it.

This, from Congress.gov, explains how any House member can get a vote on impeachment articles within two legislative days. Even if the vote is to table or refer to a committee, it gets the whole House on record. So, why aren’t we seeing this daily?
