Just one of the reasons why I gave up on trying to grow them. On a good note, my Lupin survived the roofers. Let’s see how it goes with the windows and siding yet to come.
Certainly not the worst idea you have had. Revisiting yesterdays idea…we left social media behind and cycled up to the Highwood Pass. Saw 5 bears that might come in handy to send on that mission.
I know! We went to the mountains today….it was so beautiful, you could almost forget what horrible world we live in now.
Yes, migrainey here as well. But we escaped to the mountains yesterday and that fixed mine . It was pretty magical.
We will have to try that. Thanks! We did not make Christmas dinner yesterday….we went for a long snowshoe instead. 😊 The weather was perfect and everyone else was at home eating. My pictures are pat compared to yours, but…
It’s been the best day in a while. First we had a great soul-cleansing hike in the snow and then there are actually some kind of positive news.
Nice! I can’t compete with that model, but nature has many beautiful poses.
How dare there be bunnies! The driftwood is interesting, we just had such an experience.
It is such a great place to visit! I loved it, when we where there. We did lots of trees last week as well, mostly larches but anything colourful.
Looking at positive things each and every day day is important for our mental health. Today I am celebrating the fact that my second Lupin is almost blooming. The first one was destroyed by hail. Thank you @feistywaters.com for your recommendation.
Beautiful! You make a very good point. We have been hiking quite a bit and enjoying the wildflowers. It’s so necessary to take breaks from it and breathe regularly.
Getting a picture of a butterfly that perfectly matches the For-get-me-nots made me smile.
Yes, it’s not just the world….this province is so exhausting basically every day. Our distraction right now are spring bike rides. Last week we did my favourite one.
Take care of yourself and know that you are not alone. I hope you find something that gives you some peace. We are distracting ourselves by staying very busy and active in nature. Hugs and solidarity 💕
I admit, I am very worried about the fight that maybe is in our near future and a constant reminder of why it matters so much is essential.
We keep having to remind ourselves why we are still here. Yesterday we did, again.
We had an excellent day and came home to a whole slew of emails about coal! You loose the sun pretty quickly in the mountains and it was cold, even though there was no wind.
