#TsuruforSolidarity is also vocal about the importance of #Reparations for Black Americans. They see so clearly the parallels betw/ the cruel mistreatment they suffered & that endured by Black Americans. We white people need to take a page from this book: reject the racism & superiority we are fed.

#TsuruforSolidarity has argued adamantly that the Trump detention cruelty scheme is a replay of the playbook 🇺🇸 deployed against Japanese Americans in ‘42. This summer they have been staging pilgrimages to the Trump camps to draw attention to how evil this practice was and still is.

What originally brought Kilmar Abrego Garcia into contact w/ ICE? Xavier reminded us that in ‘19 ICE arrested KAG for ‘loitering’ when in reality he was seeking day laborer work. This is a profit-driven move & the same basis Southern states used to detain & functionally re-enslave Black Americans.
