Finally hopping onboard for this round! Shot with my trusty Konica Minolta DiMage G400 — the most versatile 4MP point and shoot camera I've ever owned. Edits in darktable (which, to my delight, has built-in lens correction for this old thing!). #ShittyCameraChallenge

We stopped in Sitka this morning, and got to do a little exploration on foot, including a brief stroll through Sitka National Historical Park. It's such a beautiful place with a rich (and tragic) history. #Alaska

The twisted remains of a couple of large trees in the forest. Based on what I've read, the larger trees are mostly western hemlock and Sitka spruce.

If you need some cheap but surprisingly good Bluetooth earbuds, I got these on clearance for $1.50 yesterday at a Dollar General store. Forgot to bring ear buds on the trip, so I snagged these. They're a little wonky to get paired, but once you do they work great! #CheapEarbuds

The man at the visitor center claimed this is an eagle nest, but the occupants appear to be ospreys. There were at least 4 large birds of prey circling and swooping down on the nest. It appeared that the one bird was defending it against others. #NorrisDam #Tennessee #Osprey

The new Sigma 17-40mm f/1.8 came this afternoon. I'm working from home, so I bothered my sleeping muse. I'll do proper photos soon. Naturally I was eager to test the low light performance, as one does. Shot wide open at ISO 6400, 1/45 sec. Cropped and edited in Snapseed. #Sigma
