@artsparrow.bsky.social created the original thumbs for the animatic, but as the narrative changed, I added more thumbs. We put them in our visual script, which listed the shots along with every element that needed to be drawn and animated, and kept track of production there. #animation #production
Sometimes it's hard to describe what I do beyond just comp and character animation. For Mistletoe, I took the incredible @artsparrow.bsky.social 's artwork and added lighting, sometimes color change, prop swap, and occasionally a little layout change to get the final image. #2Danimation #animation
This was helpful for full body shots that involved walking or acting
Though most of the character animation was done with FK, several shots used DUIK IK rigging #duik #aftereffects #mograph #animation
