Another of those Corsi-Rosenthal boxes, made with two 20x20x1 filters and two 10x20x1 filters and 8 PC fans. It's in a corner as opposed to out in the open, but that doesn't appear to be a problem.

A blue mid-tail (Yuba Kombi). Attached to the rear rack is a green Specialized kids' bike w/ 20in wheels. Its rear wheel is on the front, but the front wheel is lifted up and sitting on the Kombi's rear (foot) platform.

Zoomed in on the front wheel of the kids' bike. You can see two straps with buckles or similar going wrong the tire itself, to attach to the blue frame of the Kombi. One at the top of the rack, the other near the foot rest. Then, barely visible behind the spokes, another strap that is attached to the left side of the kids' bike fork, attaching to the top right side of the Kombi rack.

A wooded area next to a fence (next to the Queens Zoo entrance). A long wheel-bender bike rack, maybe 12ft long, with cobblestone underneath. Two cargo bikes (mid-tail or longtail) are parked on either end of the rack, basically the only usable spots on the rack. Kid seats are installed on the rear of both bikes.

Same rack with the two cargo bikes locked, but now there's a *third* cargo bike (my blue Yuba Kombi) attached to it. My bike is locked in the middle, and I have a smaller kids' bike attached to my bike, so I'm literally taking up THE ENTIRE SIDE of the bike rack. The smaller bike is attached to my rear rack by its front wheel, with the rear wheel of the kids' bike on the ground.

the 9yo made a fortune teller out of seaweed

A child's fortune-teller. One of those things where you take a piece of paper, fold it up, to make a thing that you put your two thumbs and pointer fingers into. Normally you write numbers or something on them to have someone pick, and then when it unfolds it has their fortune. This one, however, is made out of dark green seaweed so contains no writing. It is closed, w/ the 9yo's fingers in it.

Same thing, but now the seaweed fortune teller is open to display the inside.

Now the seaweed fortune teller is closed again.

Verizon didn't even bother to seal up the hole. Just drilled a hole in the brick, ran the fiber through, and left a welcome mat for any ants (or other insects) and water to come right in. I fucking cable and telephone companies.

You are asking me as a parent if I believe I should be warned before my children are exposed to material containing gender identity themes. You are asking me, then, if I should be warned before my children are exposed to one of my children. It is one of my dearest hopes that at some point it will occur to otherwise logical people that if they were aware of THEIR gender long before they had any idea about their sexuality, then transgender kids can ALSO be aware of their gender at that same age, with that exact same level of (non-)understanding. Gender is not inherently sexual. It isn't for cisgender kids, it isn't for transgender, non-binary, intersex, or any other kids. The concept of gender is not a dangerous or damaging idea.

But turning gender into a pathology? That IS dangerous. That IS damaging. Just this morning, I read a press release from the Attorney General of Idaho, celebrating that the plaintiffs challenging his strict bathroom ban in schools had dropped their case. He didn't mention why they dropped their case. He didn't mention that their daughter, who was not out as transgender, who had been told she could no longer use the girls bathroom at school, who had to try to find times she could get to the one single-occupancy bathroom in the school, hoping no one would see her, terrified someone would figure it out - he did not mention that she had died by suicide. He just crowed that the "law was now in full effect across the state."
