Never underestimate the healing powers of pets to soothe us physically, mentally and emotionally. Having had some issues after minor knee surgery Sam has been looking after me as much as he can and understood he can't lie on my left knee as much. 🥰😸

Just thought I'd put this out for curiosity if nothing else; Vue cinema at St. Enoch's centre, Glasgow yesterday afternoon was evacuated just before 5pm and we assumed the rest of the centre was too. Nothing was announced and nothing has come up on any news I've seen. Anybody else know anything?....

Finally starting a new job after a couple of months out, and it's going to be hard to leave Sam who's favorite thing is generally lying on me. Also pity my partner who will have to put up with him howling for attention (and human food) on her own during the day.

We've heard this noise a lot and always thought it was a bird. Apparently it's a female squirrel 'barking' (mating call). Also never expected to see one so close, but they're happy to perch outside the windowsill, and even stare in waiting for food.
