The new art gallery in the Nintendo Museum is a joy. Some rare actual history in the venue previously called Nintendo Gallery. Seeing hand drawn sketches for Mario, Zelda, and Metroid key art up close feels like discovering treasure.
Just went to a Nintendo store, walked around, and bought nothing. I’ve either grown, or (more likely) outpaced their product cadence

As I’ve gotten a bit older and more reflective, I’ve started occasionally asking creators I admire to sign their games. Today’s PlayStation disc news really hits home thinking that, in the near future, they’ll have nothing left to scribble on.
