I got into a roll with my current read. Over halfway done :) I'm planning to focus a bit more on fantasy now. I think I've done well with my physical horror TBR, so it's time to start making a dent in my fantasy one.
And FF8 Remastered did give them a few more pixels, so the transition from the cinematic to the game isn't so rough anymore.
Noo 😂😂 Stop picking on my favorite emo boi. Besides, the ballroom cinematic cutscene goes so hard. FF8 has killer cutscenes overall.

What horror movie image haunts you? 🖤 (I didn't want to post anything too graphic or spoilery, so I went with #Backcountry, because holy shit that shot of the huge black bear through the tent flaps struck intense primal fear in me. And then it got WAY worse.)

Finished #TheForgottenBeastsOfEld by Patricia A. McKillip. This book was beautiful. We really don't have fantasy like this anymore, but we should.

Okay, so I did watch #MaternalInstinct. My problem with this doc is that it doesn't give any insight into who Taylor was before she met Wade. Nothing about her upbringing, education, relationships, her two existing children?? You can't just be like "yeah, she was just crazy" and call it a day.
Oh, am I reading another book about apprenticeship? Only evil one. Well, if you call dark magic more evil than plain old assassination.
