Happy (belated) Birthday to Coco from Witch Hat Atelier! The weekly anime eps and convincing more of my friends to FINALLY watch and read WHA has been a real treat this spring <3 It is to me a VERY IMPORTANT, MOST-READ series, and I am so glad folks have been falling in love with it <3

Also... because I could not pass up the opportunity to make the best of my ticket to the Cloisters ALSO gets me into the Met.... I made the trek down to visit my favorite section and sketch/doodle at the Arms and Armory exhibit. (These are the best xD Unless y'all want to see some wonky katanas)

I also spent a lot of time trying to study motiffs from the Unicorn Tapestries today. I tried sketching but nothing was turning out right, but it was still useful study 😤 Legs and feet were also not aching cause this museum has so many nice, breezy outdoor spaces to take a long sit in, hehe

And then here's my ultimate end goal after working really hard and climbing some steep hills: The Cloisters! The last time I visited it was a beautiful snowy day so it was really fun seeing the late spring change up x)

So after volunteering this morning with the kind folks that run the Great Saunter, I'm sauntering myself around Manhattan and ✨️romanticizing✨️ the Hudson River

I also made this variant with these vaguely threatening Forget-Me-Nots because I felt it was So fitting :'3 I am so excited to see where we go with Atwert and Galga (and the new kid they just adopted)

I did a HUGE Witch Hat Atelier reread from start to Chapter 95 because I've been in Love with the anime -- and of course, I got to Silver Eve and Atwert and Galga and I've been Rotating Them In My Mind. ;'3 Still thinking about Them and how tenderly Shirahama draws them together #WitchHatAtelier 🎨
