Lebanna responds: The United Nations is only as strong as the members allow it to be. It is important to note that Australia, on a daily basis, breaches UN Conventions it has ratified. The UN cannot even make us, the supposed egalitarian fair go country (cough), stick to what it agreed to. If only the member nations had the guts to enforce the UN Treaties everywhere. Those who ask what you have down here, in the lucky country, get ridiculed and slandered, some even get criminalised, new laws are written to criminalise people protesting against human rights atrocities and our speech is curtailed. I mean, the letter we are critiquing is a great example of where nuance goes to die ...

Lebanna answers: Yes and yes. The most obvious ones for you to analyse how we are traveling are the Conventions on Refugees, Elimination of Racism, First Nations People, Persons with Disability, and Children. Re elimination of racism treaty, we don't even have the guts to call it what it is down here and instead call it 'harmony', just in case we upset some people! We don't even follow all the articles within the declaration of human rights, so it should not come as a surprise that we breach the Conventions that have evolved from it. A breach is a breach, there is no competition. You can read the various Rapporteur's reports on how we travel in regards to respecting the Treaties we have signed. They are publicly available through the UN website. 'We' are the UN, and not one Nation on this planet abides by the treaties they ratify, hence why none of them have any standing to call out human rights abuses committed by another Nation. This is what our 'leaders' create for 'us'.

Found about five years ago on the edge of the Macleay River, West Kunderang, NSW. I wonder for how long and how far it traveled before I changed its path ... Now resides at the Haven of Rocks.

A river rock of granitic origin. It is smooth and rounded from spending a long time in a river system. It is grey blue in colour and displays many inclusions. A prominent heart shaped inclusion is the focus of the photo. Found about five years ago on the edge of the Macleay River, West Kunderang, NSW.

In honour of this prestigious day I have forced Jake to present me with his medal for being the best 13 year old boy swimmer at school! I have also stolen his star reader certificate. Later on I will break into the neighbour's place and relieve them of their mounted flapping fish. Just saw photos on FB of one of Jake's good mates. The photos were posted to promote air force cadets, which are sponsored by the RAAF. Us adults wrote a law saying the kiddies aren't allowed on FB. But us adults can post as many photos as we want of the kiddies on the platforms we have banned the kiddies from. I wonder how many photos of our kiddies are posted with their consent. I know not one single adult has ever sought my consent to have a photo of me published on FB. Adults are weird ...

Blaming the sitting Fed Government for the mass murder on Sunday surely has to be the most dumb and illogical go to I have heard of. Making those claims keeps any civil unrest going, and heightens it for many people. We are all in this together, so maybe it is OUR fault. Who will lead us at this time, because from what I am seeing on social media there are a lot of lost people thrashing around in pain and anger, demanding everyone join in with their hatred. They have been searching for an event to gather with other angry and hate filled people, and they have allegedly found it. And here I am trying to harvest everything inside of me to find some kind of empathy and compassion for these people who are demanding hate from me. Stay strong those who can still see clearly ... we all need you, my kids need you.
