Art i made for the OC Roulette art exchange of @erdbeercat.bsky.social's Loreta!
This year for #artfight I've joined Team Tragedy, and Eusco has gotten a suitable themed form! Sorrowsco! She wanted twintails and I think she seems pretty happy with them...
It's the dawn of the final day, but finally put together my #artfight card! artfight.net/~AnnaLerahk
decided to doodle a bunch of characters for pathfinder that i made sheets for but havent yet played (and maybe never will). always fun to make a lil' guy!
Some of these aren't very obscure but I wholeheartedly recommend all of them.
There is a solid 60% chance that, at any given moment, I'm thinking about wanting to play Nightreign. I'm not the most well versed in the souls cinematic universe, but goddamn do I enjoy doing runs of this game with friends. Ironeye and Recluse are my favs.
For some "cute girl who run fast" is the only part of the pitch they need to hear, but those who remain unconvinced Haste is a charming game about girl who run fast. You play as Zoe, said girl who run fast. It's good stuff.
Some of (if not *the*) first online communities I was a part of were minecraft servers. They're memories I'll always cherish (and several homes i've built i dont think ill ever be able to forget).
My map painting game of choice, although I don't play it as much these days I will always remain fond of Stellaris. I also made several mods for the game because I enjoyed it so much I wanted to try adding my own stuff to it.
Another smol anna classic was Worms Under Siege. I played severeal of the worms games with my dad and siblings but this was (and still is) by far my favourite of the worms games. I really enjoyed the base/fort building mechanics and was sad that it wasn't in any of the other worms games.
One Step From Eden broadened my horizons for games that I like. I went into it thinking it looked interesting but that it would ultimately be way too difficult for me and i wouldnt play much of it. I was wrong, i found it a lot of fun and the soundtrack is so good i now own it on vinyl.
I'm a sucker for yuri, compelling characters, and a murder mystery. Which is to say Of The Devil was my GOTY last year for a reason. I don't want to say to much because, as cliché as it is, I do think experiencing OtD blind is worth it, and I cant wait to see the rest of it come out.
Cobalt Core (and Sunshine Heavy Industries) are the kind of games that remind me of why I studied game development. They have so much heart and charm and I will never not recommend both of them whenever someone asks about my opinion on games. We need more of these kinds of game in the world.
I have to mention Robot Wars Extreme Destruction. Smol baby Anna lived and breathed robot wars, could name basically every robot and even got to see some of it live once. So a game where she could make her own robot and play it with her dad on his pc? it will forever live in the back of my mind
Well guess i'll start with the game i've spent the most time playing and man, it's not even close. DOTA 2 was/is such a formative game for me, shaping my taste in games towards complex yet flexible games and forming some of the friendships i have to this day.
