Haven’t shown face in a while, so here’s a Throwback Thursday to 1969. Ok, last Thursday when Brandon invited me (et al.) to perform for a themed dinner at his job. There were tech issues w/my solo, but by then, members were singing along, so we finished “Mercedes Benz” a capella. Thanks, Janis ✌️

I often write down ideas to steal from cooking shows but somehow forgot to attribute “asparagus yogurt sauce” recently; suspect it was Chef Kevin Lee. Added ponzu to the sauce, curry to the purple cauli, and Hampton marinated the steak in soy, Balsamic, and pineapple, reducing it to a 👨‍🍳💋sauce. 🍽️🍋

Redux of yesterday’s Easter lamb because while tasty, the vinegar-heavy mint sauce threw off the Crozes-Hermitage red blend Hampton was so proud of pairing. …I still didn’t like the wine. But our bistro-esque lamb frites with creamy mustard sauce and peas was a delight. 🍽️🍋
