Book #14 is a book that @itsallaboutde.bsky.social recommended and I loved it! The voice of the book reminded me a little bit of the Borderlands video games and was also a similar writing style to my friend that we lost a couple of years ago. Cannot wait to read more in the series!! #RootRootRead

Book #13: Just finished listening to Kim Thayil's memoir. It was cool to hear about his influences and his life in and out of Soundgarden. Kind of wish there had been more, though. But overall a good listen. #RootRootRead

Though I did deem this one safe enough to get close to. I was eventually able to pick it up and safely place it back outside where it belonged.
Book #10 - a book with an orange (ish?) cover. I had checked out another of her books randomly from the library and as I started reading it, I realized it was book 2 in this series, so I had to pause and read this one first. A good detective/mystery novel set in Australia. #RootRootRead

Thinking of this guy today. He was a Black Hawk pilot, a gamer, a cosplayer, a writer, a reader, a nerd like me. We met at a field hospital in Haiti, bonded over Kevin Smith films, and it was the start of a long friendship. God I miss him.
