The frog spitter I jury rigged a few years ago for my DIY fountain broke so I got another one, a bit sturdier, and redid the whole thing. Drilled holes in the figure to run the hose and added some more decor. Also glued everything down because the raccoons liked to steal everything off the last one.
Anecdotal observation driving to my friend’s parent’s place on a lake in rural-ish Chelsea: A LOT of “Abdul for Senate” signs. No others (R or D) spotted. (Lake tax)

Oh my childhood! These and heavy duty metal pinking shears like these were practically on every surface in my house growing up.
The farm also had fainting goats, the ones that go ridged & fall over when startled. Seems as tho slipping while climbing on these logs was enough to scare them. This…happened often. So goats just kept freezing and tipping over. Every time they came to (about 15-20 sec) they’d climb right back up.
I also made the balloon arch. As an event planner I abhor working with balloons but I’ll do it for the kid.
And here’s the finished cake! Lit and unlit. Her school colors are orange and black so I did my best to be on theme without giving Halloween. She loved it. 🥰
I motherfucking did it. Everything is edible except for the strand of lights I ran into the isomalt bulbs, of course.
65%?? Getting the same size has been a struggle but I finally hit my stride and can churn a bunch out so hopefully I can pick and choose.
Upping that to 25% possible! I figured out how to make the teeny lightbulbs with isomalt. A lot of trial and error but I approached it like all the glass blowing I’ve watched over the years and it worked! (Also…should I take up glass blowing??)
