On July 10th, 1985, French agents bombed Greenpeace’s Rainbow Warrior while in New Zealand preparing for a peaceful protest against French nuclear testing in the Pacific, killing photographer Fernando Pereira. We stood against state violence towards protestors then and we must stand against it today

Today’s anti-authoritarian training focuses on artists & cultural workers. The ability to create art & free expression is core to a democratic society. The best way to protect these rights is to use them. What an honor to meet all these culture makers committed to speaking out and standing together!
Passed a Tesla diner in Los Angeles last night. Quite the spectacle with gigantic outdoor movie screens and a lot full of Teslas, but my favorite part was this guy standing out front. All across the U.S., everyday people are finding ways to speak out and resist.
Beautiful start to the resistance training for faith community members in LA today. So inspiring to be in a room packed with members of many different faiths, united in our committment to protecting communities and democratic rights. Gatherings like this are why I don’t despair.
Visiting DC and not happy about all the National Guard just hanging out all over town - and then I learned that these theatrics are costing the public $1m a day. Especially at a time when so many families are struggling, this is a moral failure on an epic scale.
