A few weeks ago, they added the ChatGPT “feature” to Viber and since then the app has been super annoying about getting the user to use it. ChatGPT is either the reason for the upcoming 88%+ price increase or it was added to help justify it. Either way, I’ve canceled my paid subscription.

June read #3: THE MIDNIGHT TAXI by Yosha Gunasekera A Sri Lankan American cab driver finds her passenger dead at the end of the trip, with no idea how the murder had taken place. It’s also a story about family — given, found, and lost — and a love letter of sorts to NYC and its service workers.

First book for June: Glory Daze by Danielle Arceneaux (A Glory Broussard Mystery) The second book in this new-to-me series because the first book was unavailable from the library. Lots of characters, lots of personal drama. I’m so glad to find another book with an elderly female amateur sleuth.

Spoke too soon, got in the second book in the Marlow Murder Club series, DEATH COMES TO MARLOW by Robert Thorogood.

(Looks like I can only finish three books this month.) Book 3 for May is The Marlow Murder Club by Robert Throrogood I have to say, I like the changes they made for the TV show.

Not sure what this specific notebook is called but this is what the barcode sticker says. I discovered this in National Bookstore, their TriNoma branch. So hypothetically this notebook should be available in other NBS branches.

Alas, I couldn’t find one with dotted or plain pages. Still, I thought the lines were just the perfect distance apart. I think it’s perfect for morning pages or casual journaling. It’s light and slim, so it’s easy to carry around.

New stationery day! I just discovered a lovely fountain pen-friendly notebook by Premiere Notes. It’s a lined, 40-leaf (80-page), A5 notebook sold at a retail price of only ₱30. There’s a bigger version that goes for ₱40 (a B5 I think?). Basically, really good quality at such a low price.
